Plug-in surge protectors are wall-mounted adapters with 3-wire NEMA 5-15 grounded outlets. Each protector features a high-impact ABS plastic housing and a brass grounding plug. The protectors come in one, three or six-outlet configurations, and surge dissipation ratings from 90 to 420 joules.

Surge protected strips are multiple outlet strips with 3-wire NEMA 5-15 outlets. The strips offers a high-impact ABS plastic or baked enamel metal housing and a 3, 4 or 6-foot power cord. The strips come in six, eight or nine-outlet configurations, and provide surge dissipation ratings from 150 to 1500 joules and higher. Other features on some models are EMI-RFI noise filtering, built-in circuit breaker, LED surge/ground-fault indicator, transformer spaced outlets, child-protected slide-outlet-covers, surge-fail audible-alarm alerts, and hanging brackets. Surge protector strips are available for phone/fax/modem and CATV/satellite/home theater applications.
